How can I take my pulse?
The easiest ways to check your pulse are on your wrist or on your neck.
How to check your pulse on your wrist
With your palm facing up, look at the area between your wrist bone and the tendon on the thumb side of your wrist.
Use the tip of the index finger of your other hand to feel the pulse in your radial artery which is between your wrist bone and the tendon on the thumb side of your wrist.
Apply just enough pressure so you can feel each beat. Avoid pushing too hard to avoid obstructing the blood flow.
